wonderful hotel experience

the location was amazing. i walked about 20 minutes to the louvre etc. it was generally situated near good cafes, a university, and easy access to taxis. my room was large and had been recently refurbished. the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.
The blackout curtain wasn't really effective and let a fair amount of light in. it was noisy. People outside until early morning hours made lots of noise! the school next door caused noise through the walls too.

my room included a coffee maker plus complimentary bottles of water, it was very convenient. the closet space allowed for easy organization and storage of four nights.

taxi arrangementsoundproofing issue
the staff helped arrange for our taxi to the airport. that was acceptable.
I found that soundproofing was a serious issue. noise from the main entrance disturbed sleep at night. it impacted my stay considerably. I expected better.

I thought the soundproofing could have been better. The noise from the street was noticeable, especially early in the morning. also, the spa was listed as an amenity, but it was unavailable . i wish i had known this beforehand. the room felt less superior than advertised. the wardrobe was a bit small. There was barely any space to hang my clothes.

The staff service was wonderful, and I found the facilities to be modern. The location proved ideal. I could easily reach major attractions. The hotel was also very clean. I would definitely come back!
The hallway decor seemed a bit dated, specifically the old carpet. (This is just a minor thing.)
